What is Sound Bowl Meditation?
A sound bath is a fully immersive, full body listening experience that uses sound to guide you into a state of deep rest and relaxation. The experience begins with each person lying down or seated in a comfortable position. After a few moment of guided focus on the breath, the remainder of the experience is filled with different sounds and frequencies being introduced in succession. The sounds introduced during a Sound Bath are an invitation into a deeper state of consciousness, as well as an opportunity to disconnect from external stimuli and to reconnect with yourself. The goal of the experience is for you to rest, reset, and energetically re-align. The vibrations emitted from the instruments used during a sound bath are able resonate with certain energy points within and around the body, allowing for the removal of negative or stagnant energy. When your energy is free flowing, your sense of balance and alignment can be restored.
